Mkate Mzuri

“Mkate Mzuri” is a Swahili phrase that means good bread. This was a passion project that was inspired by the story of a group of local bakers in Kenya. These bakers couldn’t afford ovens but they didn’t let that limit them, they innovated a baking system that uses mirrors to bake. I decided to tell their story through branding a bakery inspired by their creativity. Mkate Mzuri aims to celebrate and appreciate the hard work of our local bakers.
