Mariwala Health Initiative (MHI)​​​​​​​ x Ping Pong - Reframe Illustration

I had the honour of creating an illustration to visually enhance an article titled "Collective Healing and Trauma-Informed Approaches for the Mental Health of Survivors of Trafficking," featured in the Mariwala Health Initiative Journal. 

The article delves into the profound, long-term effects of trauma, exploring the complexities of multiple victimisation and highlighting the crucial role of collective care in reintegrating survivors of human trafficking into society.

Concept

The concept behind the piece is designed to evoke themes of compassion, resilience, and hope while symbolising the interconnected processes of collective healing, polyvictimization, trauma-informed care, long-term integration, and survivor empowerment.
