iDove - Africa cross border messaging program report illustration

Working on this project was exciting, inspiring and fun. The project involved creating a cover page illustration that highlights the project countries for the iDove report on the Africa Cross Border Messaging Program. The program aimed to; innovate strategic communication interventions that promote critical thinking & problem solving to mitigate against violence in communities, build community resilience to violent extremism through different activities targeting youth, women, religious leaders and community members and change the general misconceptions of religious leaders as stern and backwards in their thinking through the "Cool Imam" approach. The project countries are based in East Africa (Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, and Mozambique) and Central Africa (the Democratic Republic of Congo) and the focus areas of the program were border regions and cross border collaboration.

It was such a thrill learning about the program and seeing the creation come to life. I am deeply honoured for being a part of this project and grateful to Albany Associates, iDove and the African Union for trusting me with their vision.
