Geo Afrik Re-brand
Geo Afrik is a survey and polling research company that started in 2016. Initially, Geo Afrik was focused on Somalia and is now evolving to all of Africa. The founders, Yasmin Kamel and Milga Liban approached me for a re-brand. They wanted a new identity that represents Geo Afrik's human and African-centred approach, diversity, representation of unheard voices and the vibrant African culture.
After brainstorming and multiple revisions, we decided to construct the logo from a sketch that Milga Liban, one of the partners, created.

Logo Anatomy
The logo comprises a wordmark and a symbol that represents a fingerprint of the African continent with a unique choice of colours.
It was a joy creating a new look for Geo Afrik. I'm infinitely grateful to Yasmin and Milga for trusting me with this re-brand.
